Steam Cleaning

Heat-assisted exterior cleaning considered for compatible hard surfaces and staining.

Kildare · Clear scope · No-obligation quote

The problem

Some exterior dirt and organic build-up cannot be judged by pressure alone. Heat-assisted cleaning may be useful on a compatible surface, but temperature, pressure, finish and existing damage all matter. A test and surface-specific plan are more credible than treating steam as the answer to every stain.

What's involved

  1. 01Identifying the surface, finish and type of visible contamination
  2. 02Checking whether heat-assisted cleaning is suitable for the affected area
  3. 03Testing or adjusting the treatment where the surface warrants it
  4. 04Cleaning the agreed area in controlled sections
  5. 05Reviewing the result and rinsing or tidying the immediate work area as required

Plan the assessment

Useful photos begin with the property—not a stock image. For a more accurate first conversation about steam cleaning, send these three details with your request.

  1. 01The affected area
  2. 02Access to the work
  3. 03What you want changed

FAQ

How is steam cleaning different from pressure washing?

Steam cleaning adds heat to the cleaning process, while pressure washing relies more directly on water movement and pressure. Which is appropriate depends on the surface and the material being removed.

Is steam cleaning safe for every exterior surface?

No. Surface material, paint, pointing, previous coatings and existing defects all affect suitability. The area is assessed before steam is proposed.

Will every old stain disappear?

No cleaning method can honestly guarantee that. Oil, rust, paint, mineral marks and deep discolouration can respond differently. The likely level of improvement is discussed after the mark and surface are seen.

Can you steam-clean one difficult area rather than the whole exterior?

A focused area can be considered where that is the practical scope. Access, runoff and the visual difference between cleaned and untouched sections still need to be considered.
